The WeatherBug Schools Program connects more than 8,000 schools across the country via WeatherBug Tracking Stations that integrate live, local weather data and technology into classroom learning. This is made possible through WeatherBug Achieve, a Web-based teaching tool. WeatherBug Achieve automatically feeds live weather readings and images from the WeatherBug Network into pre-made, interactive tools and lessons - giving teachers and students access to the largest weather network in the world!
Over 100 local meteorologists across the county feature WeatherBug schools during their on air weather reports.* This is great visibility for your school.
"Schools are the center of our communities and are where
we go to get local conditions."
- Doug Hill, Chief Meteorologist, WJLA - Washington DC Area
